Formula used by the Grade Calculator

Percentage = Σ(Obtained Marks) ÷ Σ(Total Marks) × 100

Example: Grade Calculator

Three assignments: 45/50, 88/100, 18/20

  • Assignment 1: 45 / 50
  • Assignment 2: 88 / 100
  • Assignment 3: 18 / 20

Result: 88.82% — letter grade B+, GPA estimate 3.3

(45 + 88 + 18) ÷ (50 + 100 + 20) × 100 = 151 ÷ 170 × 100 ≈ 88.82%, which falls in the B+ band (87–89.99%).
